Who is Jesus?

Did Jesus Christ really exist? If so, who was he? Was he just a good man, or teacher? Did Jesus really die on the cross, and rise from the grave? Most importantly, why do the answers to these questions matter? According to the Bible, the primary and most extensive source of information about Jesus, he was the Son of God, who left heaven to come to earth to pay the penalty for the sin of all people. The Bible says that everyone has sinned, and because of that we must be separated from God. God loves us too much to want that, so He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on a cross and rise again, promising that anyone who believes in Jesus, and accepts this sacrifice on their behalf, will have eternal life with Him in heaven.

That’s why the question of who Jesus is matters so much. The Bible says in John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, whoever does not believe in the Son shall not see life, but the judgment of God remains on them.” That’s the simple truth of God’s promise for us. Please see below for links to our audio files and blogs that provide more information on things like what is sin, what does it mean to be saved, does God answer prayer, or who can be forgiven.
